Using Essential Oils for First Aid

Posted by on July 2, 2015 at 3:20 AM

I do not sell individual oils, however, here is my personal first aid kit using Simply Lavender products:

Headache Ease: made with peppermint, chamomile and lavender essential oils. Apply to temples or base of neck. This soothing blend balances moods and reduces tension. (would also help with insomnia or anxiety)

Muscle Soother: made with wintergreen, eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. Rub on sore muscle vigorously to warm oil. Add moist heat to the area for added benefit. Great for menstrual cramps, helps with inflammation such as arthritis, joint pain, shingles and other nerve pains. Not for people taking blood thinners.

Sinus Ease: made with eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender essential oils. Eases sinus pressure, congestion, cough and headaches.

Tummy Soother: made with ginger, peppermint and lavender essential oils. Rub on belly clockwise or on palm of hands and inhale. Great for nausea, car sickness and indigestion.

Bug Repellant: made with lemon eucalyptus and lavender essential oils. Use for gnats, flies, mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, & fleas. Apply every 2 hours as needed. Not intended for children under 3.

Skin Soother: made with aloe vera gel, lavender and tea tree essential oils. This spray works on bug bites; bee stings; sunburn and other mild burns; rashes, eczema and other skin irritants. Moisturizing and disinfecting. May also use as a hand sanitizer. (also, works for disinfecting cuts)
